Scootparts.nl, Scooterparts.nl and Scootparts.com: company registered with the chamber of commerce in the Netherlands, using various trading names and indicating Internet activities, in the broadest sense of that term, as the corporate description.

Scootparts: a trading name, brand/logo deposited in Benelux, belonging to BMD Scootparts.

Services: This includes (list is non-exhaustive): the Scootparts website, newsletter, legal information and documents about Scootparts, checks of test-beds, notices, reviews, columns, forums, chatlines and information supplied by third parties.

Visitors: the private individual or legal entity making use of items.

2.1 General
The disclaimer set out here applies to all services offered by Scootparts at Scootparts.
The visitor accepts this disclaimer in making use of services.
Services are for the private use of the visitor only.

Services provided by Scootparts are obtained only from sources that can be considered as reliable, and Scootparts will take the utmost care in putting services together and maintaining them.
Scootparts cannot answer for the advertised completeness or correctness of services. Services offered by Scootparts are intended solely to provide advice and guidance to the visitor.

2.2 Liability
Items made available by Scootparts are supplied without any guarantee. Scootparts and their staff accept no liability for the accuracy of, or any prejudice arising from the use of or inability to use (nor prejudice attendant on interruption, defect, delay, computer virus or any other problem) with items.

2.3 Adjustments
No rights can be derived or inferred from the use of services. Services may be amended or enhanced without prior notice.
Scootparts reserves the right to amend and/or remove information provided by visitors, if information provided or placed by visitors is contrary to law, the interests of other visitors, other third parties, or the General Conditions of Scootparts, or conditions of the services themselves.

2.4 Copyright, authors' rights and Scootparts intellectual-property rights
Copyright, authors' rights and Scootparts intellectual-property rights are reserved in relation to holders of all rights including, but not restricted to, authors' rights, brand-name rights and patents relating to services. In making use of services offered by Scootparts, the visitor agrees that items offered by visitors do not include authors' rights or intellectual-property rights, also that the visitor will deposit intellectual-property rights over them with Scootparts.
None of the services offered by Scootparts may be publicised or reproduced without the agreement of Scootparts in advance and in writing, including their replication by means of printing, offset, photocopy or microfiche, nor in any digital, electronic, visual or other form or (this shall apply if need be to authors' rights) reproduction for the benefit of a company, organisation or institution or for his own training or exercise purposes, study or use other than of a strictly private nature, or (iii) for acquisition by any newspaper or magazine (regardless whether in digital form or on-line), or in any radio/TV broadcast.

3. Abuse
Scootparts aims to respect authors' rights and other legislation as far as possible. Given the complexity of such legislation and the diversity of services, it is possible that Scootparts could infringe authors' rights or other legislation. A party holding rights to works protected by authors' rights is given an opportunity to notify Scootparts of any potential violation. Scootparts will reply within 5 working days by e-mail, or by letter if appropriate.
The visitor is not allowed to misuse items offered by Scootparts to the detriment of, or in a way liable to occasion prejudice to, Scootparts, third parties or other visitors. Prejudice occasioned through the misuse of items will be recovered from the visitor.

5. Applicable law
Dutch law is applicable between the visitor and Scootparts.
Disputes between the Customer and Scootparts will be settled by the competent judge at Utrecht or, at the discretion of Scootparts, by the competent judge for the Customer's domicile.
